Each family research project is unique. We take on projects as simple as finding a specific piece of information about a single ancestor to creating a full genealogy for your family.

German Church Record Translations

Reading German script can be a challenging task. Our German researchers are accustomed to reading this handwriting and can help you unlock the secrets contained in your ancestor's records. Our service includes both a transcription (documenting what the words are in German) and a translation (the English version) of the record.

Brick Wall Strategies

Are you a researcher yourself but find that you have hit a snag? Has your ancestor pulled a disppearing act on you? Maybe they are an immigrant who seems to have swam here? Provide us with the details of what you know and exactly what research you have completed to date. We will conduct a detailed review of that research and develop a customized plan of next steps for you to follow. We can also help you execute any of those steps.

Presenting Your Ancestor

Are you curious about a branch of your family that you know little or nothing about? Is there a significant family event on the horizon? This unique, one-of-a-kind gift idea that is sure to please anyone. We research a specific branch of your family. Then we weave together historical context, pictures, maps, documents, etc. to tell their individual story in a meaningful, creative way. We present this personal history at your family event to the delight of your guests. Currently, this service is only available in the Chicago area. A minimum six-month lead time is required.

THE Book

For a truly special treatment of your family story, we offer your heritage uniquely hand-crafted into book form. Our team will thoroughly research branches of your family. The results will be beautifully bound to your specifications. These books are exceptional attractions that will highlight any coffee table, board room or personal library.
